


Daisetsuzan
Daisetsuzan is not the name of one mountain, but a general term for the mountains in the area.
Many people visit Daisetsuzan in search of the magnificent mountain scenery of the northern country that cannot be seen anywhere else.
Pretty alpine plants begin to bloom in early summer in July, and the earliest autumn leaves in Japan in September.

Kurodake round-trip course
Walking time: Approximately 2 hours
It is a 7-minute walk from our inn to the Kurodake Ropeway platform.
The flowers are in full bloom in early July, and the autumn leaves are in full bloom in early September.
There is a stone room and a toilet where you can stay if you proceed for about 20 minutes without turning back at the top.

Around the bowl
(Kurodake Ropeway, Lift → Kurodake 7th Station → Kurodake Mountain Top → Kurodake Stone Room → Hokuzhen Branch → Nakadake Branch → Mamiyadake → Hokkaidake → Kurodake Stone Room → Kurodake Mountain Top → Kurodake 7th Station → Lift, Ropeway)
Walking time: Approximately 8 hours
Go around the central crater while looking at the mountains of heavy snow.
Recommended for those who visit Daisetsuzan for the first time.



Kurodake-Asahi-dake vertical course
(Kurodake Ropeway, Lift → Kurodake 7th Station → Kurodake Summit → Kurodake Ishimuro → Hokuzhen Branch → Nakadake Branch → Mamiyadake → Asahidake → Asahidake Ishimuro → Asahidake Ropeway Sugatami Station)
Walking time: Approximately 8 hours
It is a vertical route to Asahidake, the highest peak in Hokkaido.
There is a hot spring town at the foot of Mt. Asahi, and there is also a bus to Asahikawa city.

Akadake round-trip course
(Ginsendai → Komakusadaira → Akadake mountaintop → Komakusadaira → Ginsendai)
Walking time: Approximately 5 hours
There is a bus bound for Ginsendai from the front of our inn.
It is a course where you can enjoy flowers, and the autumn leaves in mid-September are recommended.



Plateau hot spring swamp tour course
(Kogen Onsen Higuma Information Center → Midorinuma → Midorinuma → University Swamp → Kogennuma → University Swamp → Midorinuma → Dohyo Swamp → Higuma Information Center)
Walking time: 4.5 hours
A course with particularly beautiful autumn leaves. Take a walk through the autumn leaves while going around the swamp.
Since it is an area with a lot of brown bears, let's enter after receiving a lecture at the Higuma Information Center.

Galactic Waterfall / Ryuseino Falls

8 minutes by car (50 minutes on foot) from our inn to the parking lot under the waterfall
Furthermore, it is a 15-minute walk from the parking lot to the observatory called Soubakudai. If the weather is nice, you can see Kurodake on the meteor waterfall.
Cycling up to this point is recommended.
A 25-minute walk from our inn.
As the name suggests, the autumn leaves are also beautiful.
